CEREC stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics. The restoration is completed in one visit., thereby eliminating the need for impressions or a second visit.

What is done at the appointment?
First the tooth is prepared. Next, a thin layer of reflective powder is applied to the tooth surface. A special camera takes a sharp optical impression of the tooth. Computer Aided Design technology helps us design your restoration from the digital impression. The CEREC then creates your ceramic restoration. We'll show you how the milling machine creates your custom restoration from a block of ceramic material.
